Apollo Series 65 UV Flame Detector The 55000-025 Apollo Series 65 UV Flame Detector is a conventional unit designed to be base mounted on an Apollo Series 65 detector base. This unit is designed to be installed on a conventional detection zone, and is designed to be used in open areas where flaming fires may be expected.  The 55000-025 has a UV sensor which is designed to react to UV radiation which is emitted by flames during combustion.
